Over 400 young professionals have graduated from our Boot Camp program to become members of Fuel For Truth. While FFT focuses on supporting the Jewish State, our diverse membership includes people of all faiths, ethnicities, nationalities and walks of life. FFT's members include Jews, Christians and Muslims, and hail from countries all over the world, including the United States, Canada, Israel, United Kingdom, France, Iran, Belgium and Venezuela.
Founder, Chairman Emeritus
On September 12, 2001, Jon had the idea to create an organization that would educate young Americans on the threats that the US and Israel were both facing . Under his leadership, Fuel For Truth launched its Israel advocacy training programs- the flagship Boot Camp program for young professionals and Old Skool for college students.
Jon is a media and technology executive, operating companies with activities around the globe. He is active in many philanthropic causes including supporting US Military veterans, interfaith relations, animal rescue and feeding the hungry.
Co-Founder, Chairman Emeritus
Joe Richards is a Director at AIPAC, The American Israel Public Affairs Committee. He focuses on educating and empowering leaders about the vital US-Israel relationship and how they can have an immediate impact on public policy.
Prior to joining AIPAC, Joe was a consultant for dozens of Fortune 100 companies as a Communication Strategist. Working side-by-side with world-renowned communication guru and political strategist Dr. Frank Luntz, Joe traveled extensively across the country interviewing thousands of Americans, getting a better understanding of their needs, wants and desires -- then translating that into greater market share. From Facebook to Fedex, the NFL to National Security, Joe has been at the forefront of creating the dialogue Americans are having today.
With nearly two decades of experience in the non-profit sector, Joe consults and is a board member for a number of organizations focused on Israel, American Jewish strength, veterans (American and Israeli), high school/college wrestling and the arts.
Joe is a grandchild of Holocaust survivors and his parents were born and raised in a Displaced Person refugee camp after WWII. Joe intimately understands the challenges the Jewish people face today and has a keen ability to motivate the next generation to be proactive - rather than reactive - against the growing threats to our people.
Joe attended Syracuse University where he competed as a Division I wrestler; only to later graduate with honors from NYU. He met his wife at Fuel For Truth and is the proud father of 3 young children.
Greg Corbin is the Executive Managing Director of Besen & Associates, a full service commercial real estate firm which specializes in investment sales, retail leasing, financing, and management. The firm has annual sales reaching over $1 billion, and currently manages over 2,300 residential units, 200 stores, and 700,000 Sq. Ft. of commercial and office space.
Mr. Corbin specializes in investment sales throughout the greater New York area and has closed transactions spanning nearly all product types, including multi-family residential, development site, factory/warehouse, transitional housing facility, mixed-use, and commercial buildings.
In addition to leading The Corbin Group, Mr. Corbin is responsible for growing firm-wide revenue through company branding and marketing initiatives, recruitment and training, and oversight of the investment sales division.
Prior to joining Besen & Associates, Greg Corbin was a Director of Sales at Massey Knakal Realty Services. Before that, Mr. Corbin was a Principal and the Chief Operating Officer of KCL Trading, a subsidiary of E*Trade Financial, where he ran a floor of over 40 traders.
Mr. Corbin is the Executive Co-Chairman of the YJP Real Estate Division, Vice President of the Give To Give Foundation, a Co-Founder of the non-profit Fuel For Truth, and a member of ICSC and The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).
Mr. Corbin is a graduate of Horace Mann and Boston University. He is a native New Yorker and lives on the Upper West Side with his wife and children.
Chairman, Chief Education Officer
Ron works at Signature Bank as an Associate Group Director and for the past five years has lead Fuel For Truth’s Boot Camp program by presenting the facts and history behind the Middle East conflict and creation of the Jewish State.
During his time as CEO of the organization he has helped train hundreds of young professionals in understanding the history of Israel and the conflict in order for them to have their own opinions based on fact and have the confidence to intelligently articulate their views. He received the Friend of Israel Award from the National Council of Young Israel in 2007 and The Jewish Children’s Museum Young Leadership Award in 2013.
As a Congressional Club member with AIPAC he regularly meets with senior ranking members of Congress to educate them on the Aran-Israeli conflict and strengthen the US-Israel relationship.
Alex works at CBRE specializing in transaction & advisory real estate services and volunteers much of his free time to Fuel For Truth. Alex was named President of Fuel For Truth in early 2016, and has helped lead the organization to continue to grow both in NYC as well as in its expansion to Washington D.C.
He graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Business with a marketing degree and real estate minor. While he attended school, Alex played football for the Huskies, was actively involved with Chabad, and participated in the Sinai Scholars Society.
Deputy Chief Education Officer
Justin is one of the Boot Camp instructors, along with CEO Ron Wasserman, and educates Boot Campers on the topics pro-Israel advocates often find themselves encountering. These include the issues of West Bank settlements, the BDS movement, the status of Palestinian refugees and the allegation of Israeli apartheid. His love for teaching originated from his experience staffing Birthright trips and living in Israel after college.
Outside of FFT, Justin is the Social Media Coordinator for the Ruderman Family Foundation, a national leader in disability inclusion and one of the few organizations focusing on educating Israeli leaders on American Jewry. Prior to that he served as a Program Coordinator with AIPAC.
Justin graduated from American University in 2010, where he studied Communication Studies and Political Science. He lives in Astoria, Queens, and can be found training in Krav Maga, playing backgammon, or reading about Middle Eastern history.
Chair, Events and Alumni Engagement
Amanda is a licensed real estate salesperson with The Katzen Team, one of the top 10 grossing teams at Douglas Elliman. She is also the Junior Sales Associate at Elliman's New Development Project, Madison Square Park Tower. Amanda produced $1 million-plus weddings and special events for high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients for a high-end boutique event planning company. She is honored to take those skills and volunteer as Fuel for Truth's Chair of Events and Alumni Engagement.
Amanda serves as President, and is an inaugural board member of Jewish Women International's Young Women's Leadership Network, is on the UJA Generosity Host Committee, Co-Chairs the Young Professionals Committee for the Children’s Hearing Institute, is a member of AIPAC Young Leadership, and is a participant in the Jewish Leadership Initiative.
Amanda hails from the sunshine state and is a graduate of The Florida State University with degrees in Hospitality and Creative Writing. During undergrad, she founded an Alpha Phi chapter, raised funds for Women's Heart Health, organized the donation of a Cardiac Care Wing at the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, and was on the FSU Homecoming Executive Council.
Amanda is passionate about all things theatre and can speak in song, loves freshly baked goods, hits a solid backhand, and favors an intense Barry's Bootcamp class.
Chief Operating Officer
Jeremy is from Syosset, New York. He has his own business doing IT consulting for small and medium businesses. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2005, with a degree in Information Technology.
During his college days, he was very active in Hillel on campus, culminating in serving as Hillel president and leading the organization through a fairly challenging transition period, his senior year. He has always felt that the Jewish people have an inseparable connection both to Israel and to each other.
Chief Financial Officer
Noam Weinblatt hails from Potomac, Maryland and graduated from the University of Maryland with a double degree in Accounting and Economics in 2012.
While at UMD, Noam was a member of AEPi and president of Terrapin Students for Israel. Noam works at Anchin, Block & Anchin and received his CPA certification. He's worked in both the American Congress and Israeli Parliament.
Noam has been to Israel numerous times among which he has staffed Birthright trips and attended middle school in Jerusalem. When he's not discovering tax loopholes, you may see him kicking it with friends, exploring the world, or even DJ'ing.
Rebecca is thrilled to serve as Fuel for Truth's Fundraising Chair just one year after finishing Boot Camp. She looks forward to expanding FFT's fundraising efforts. Rebecca works for Sony Music, and is an active volunteer in marketing and event planning for GOTO, an organization that helps send talented underprivileged children to a camp for the arts. Rebecca is also a member of AIPAC's Young Leadership division.
Rebecca hails from Boston, MA and has lived in New York for three years. She is a graduate of Muhlenberg College, where she studied Comparative Religion with a concentration in Jewish studies, and was a member of the Religion Honor Society.
In her free time, Rebecca is an avid fitness enthusiast and a proud member of November Project's New York City running tribe.
