Jon Loew

Founder, Chairman Emeritus

On September 12, 2001, Jon had the idea to create an organization that would educate young Americans on the threats that the US and Israel were both facing . Under his leadership, Fuel For Truth launched its Israel advocacy training programs- the flagship Boot Camp program for young professionals and Old Skool for college students.

Jon is a media and technology executive, operating companies with activities around the globe. He is active in many philanthropic causes including supporting US Military veterans, interfaith relations, animal rescue and feeding the hungry.

Joe Richards

Co-Founder, Chairman Emeritus

After losing 6 friends in the terrorist attacks on 9/11, Joe was compelled to take action and found Fuel For Truth to be the best vehicle to educate and motivate our community. As a volunteer, Joe was responsible for spearheading the Old Skool campus program. Knowing the challenges college students would face in the near future and the lack of support provided by Jewish organizations to combat this growing trend, Joe began speaking on campuses as early as 2002. In 2004, Joe became FFT's first full-time staffer and Executive Director until 2009.

Following FFT, Joe became a consultant for dozens of Fortune 100 companies as a Communication Strategist. Working side-by-side with world-renowned communication guru and political strategist Dr. Frank Luntz, Joe traveled extensively across the country interviewing thousands of Americans, getting a better understanding of their needs, wants and desires -- then translating that into greater market share. From Facebook to Fedex, the NFL to National Security, Joe has been at the forefront of creating the dialogue Americans are having today.

With nearly two decades of experience in the non-profit sector, Joe consults and is a board member for a number of organizations focused on Israel, American Jewish strength, veterans (American and Israeli), high school/college wrestling and the arts.

Joe is a grandchild of Holocaust survivors and his parents were born and raised in a Displaced Person refugee camp after WWII. Joe intimately understands the challenges the Jewish people face today and has a keen ability to motivate the next generation to be proactive - rather than reactive - against the growing threats to our people.

Joe attended Syracuse University where he competed as a Division I wrestler; only to later graduate with honors from NYU. He met his wife at Fuel For Truth and is the proud father of 3 young children.

Greg Corbin

Co-Founder

Greg Corbin is the Executive Managing Director of Besen & Associates, a full service commercial real estate firm which specializes in investment sales, retail leasing, financing, and management. The firm has annual sales reaching over $1 billion, and currently manages over 2,300 residential units, 200 stores, and 700,000 Sq. Ft. of commercial and office space.

Greg specializes in investment sales throughout the greater New York area and has closed transactions spanning nearly all product types, including multi-family residential, development site, factory/warehouse, transitional housing facility, mixed-use, and commercial buildings.

In addition to leading The Corbin Group, Greg is responsible for growing firm-wide revenue through company branding and marketing initiatives, recruitment and training, and oversight of the investment sales division.

Prior to joining Besen & Associates, Greg was a Director of Sales at Massey Knakal Realty Services. Before that, he was a Principal and the Chief Operating Officer of KCL Trading, a subsidiary of E*Trade Financial, where he ran a floor of over 40 traders.

Greg is the Executive Co-Chairman of the YJP Real Estate Division, Vice President of the Give To Give Foundation and a member of ICSC and The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).

Greg is a graduate of Horace Mann and Boston University. He is a native New Yorker and lives on the Upper West Side with his wife and children.

Ron Wasserman

Chairman

For the past six years Ron has lead Fuel For Truth’s Boot Camp program by presenting the facts and history behind the Middle East conflict and creation of the Jewish State. 

During his time as Chairman he has helped train hundreds of young professionals in understanding the history of Israel and the conflict in order for them to have their own opinions based on fact and possess the confidence to intelligently articulate their views. He received the Friend of Israel Award from the National Council of Young Israel in 2007 and The Jewish Children’s Museum Young Leadership Award in 2013.

As a Congressional Club member with AIPAC he regularly meets with senior ranking members of Congress to educate them on the Aran-Israeli conflict and strengthen the US-Israel relationship. He's an Associate Group Director at Signature Bank.

Justin Ellis

President & National Director of ZOA's Fuel For Truth

Justin is not the typical president of a Jewish organization and takes pride in being an example of the diversity within the FFT community. After trying to get himself kicked out of Hebrew school he had no connection to Judaism or Israel until graduating from college, when he decided to move to Israel for a year in the form of a Type A personality decision. Following that transformational experience and staffing multiple Birthright trips, Justin knew he was destined to help young Zionists connect with the land, culture and people of Israel.

Upon graduating from Boot Camp in 2013, Justin became an active volunteer in FFT's ranks and assumed the presidency in 2017. As a result of FFT-ZOA partnership he now works for the Zionist Organization of America and is tasked with expanding the Boot Camp program across the United States, beginning with Miami and Boston in January 2018. He has also spearheaded FFT's effort to create new partnerships with and expand programming to university student groups, high schools and Jewish Community Centers including the Israeli American Council, Masa Israel Journey, AISH, CAMERA, AEPi, and Realize Israel at NYU. In addition to overseeing the operations of the organization, he is a Boot Camp instructor and specializes in teaching the program's communication training.

Justin graduated in 2010 from American University in Washington, DC, where he studied communications and political science. He loves living in the epicenter of culinary diversity that is Queens, NY.

Jeremy Meller

Chief Operating Officer

Jeremy is from Syosset, New York. He has his own business providing IT consulting for small and medium businesses. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2005, with a degree in Information Technology.

During his college days, he was very active in Hillel on campus, culminating in serving as Hillel President and leading the organization through a fairly challenging transition period, his senior year. He has always felt that the Jewish people have an inseparable connection both to Israel and to each other.

Todd Levy

Chief Financial Officer

Todd grew up in Miami, Florida, and early on learned the importance of being part of a strong Jewish community and being an advocate for Israel. He completed the February 2017 Boot Camp and is one of many Florida natives who have become a part of the FFT community in New York. Todd graduated from the University of Florida in 2015 with a masters degree in accounting, and is currently employed at KPMG.

Jessica Kamens

Chair, Events & Alumni Engagement

Jessica completed Boot Camp during the February 2017 class and has been highly involved ever since. She grew up on Long Island where she had a strong Jewish community that encouraged her to become a Zionist. After visiting Israel on Birthright in the summer of 2010 her love for her country grew and she returned to Jerusalem for another two months in the winter of 2014.

She is happy to bring her passion for Israel to the FFT community as Co-Chair of Events and Alumni Engagement. Jessica graduated from the University of Delaware in 2012 and holds a degree in Mass Communications with minors in Advertising and Business Administration. Professionally she gives back in a fundraising capacity and plans to utilize these skills while preparing FFT events.

In her free time, Jessica can be found at the theater, improv comedy shows and concerts.

Lily Guttentag

Chair, Fundraising

Lily is a graduate of FFT-Boston's inaugural Boot Camp class and is excited to be taking on the role of Fundraising Chair.

Lily works at the Massachusetts General Hospital as a Development Officer, and is an active member of the Mass General Hospital/ Physicians Organization Women in Leadership Committee and at the University of Delaware, as the Co-Philanthropy Chair of the Young Alumni Advisory Council. Lily brings years of experience in fundraising and donor relationship management at one of the nation's top hospitals to our team.

She looks forward to identifying new opportunities as FFT continues to expand across the country. She is a native of Andover, MA, and received her degree in Health Behavior Science and Nutrition from the University of Delaware.
